Volunteer Information
The Elmastukwek Mawio’mi Planning Committee (EMPC) is seeking volunteers of all ages to help make every year’s event a great success!
Volunteers have the choice of choosing what specific items they’d like to volunteer their time too (see application below)!
EMPC biggest volunteer need is supporting the set-up and take down of events, directly before and after.
If you are a Gr. 9-12 Student, you can earn volunteer hours toward your thirty (30) minimum required Career Education Hours, a compulsory component of your graduation requirements for the mandatory Career Education 2202 course.

Where: Corner Brook, NL
- Day 1 (Aug. 7th) at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University, 20 University Drive (10am-3pm) & the Rotary Arts Centre, 5 Park Street (7pm-10pm)
- Day 2 (Aug. 8th) at Margaret Bowater Park, 19 O’Connell Drive (10am-4pm)
- Day 3 (Aug.9th) at Margaret Bowater Park, 19 O’Connell Drive (10am-4pm)

Application
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form below and tell us a little about you and why you would like to volunteer with us.
Volunteer opportunities may be available before and/or after regular scheduled event days to support preparations and clean-up of events.
You may be required to additionally provide a Criminal Records Screening Certificate & Vulnerable Sector Check (CRSC/VSC) completed. After you submit this application, the EMPC Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you directly to confirm with you, the need for you to submit a CRSC/VSC to the RNC and provide you our Volunteer Agency From Letter to waive their fee.
